Climb more than 400 steps to the top of Campanile di Giotto to enjoy views of Florence. At a height of almost 90 m (280 ft), the 14th-century tower features seven antique bells and is considered a masterpiece of Florentine Gothic architecture. Admire the ornate detail of the tower's exterior styling, which includes several reliefs, statues, and carved panels. Wear good walking shoes for the hike to the top, because the stairs are narrow and steep. Your admission ticket also provides entry to the adjoining cathedral, baptistery, and museum. Campanile di Giotto reviews
There were a lot of stairs to get on top but it was worth it. A beautiful panoramic view of the city of Florence and a great view of the mountains. The Dome and this tower offers the same view.

Another amazing building in Florence. Hard to believe a place this beautiful is that old. The intricate exterior decorations were amazing.

Definitely worth the climb! If you are claustrophobic you should think twice about trying this tower. The space is very narrow! And it feels like it goes on forever! Lucky there are in total 3 "levels" so three resting spots that are spacious enough. There you can refresh and enjoy the view. What i didn't like is that the top was caged. So had to take picture through the grid.
Want to see the Duomo view without having to wait 3 hrs in line? This is it. Little hidden gem hardly talked about, no lines. Got 4 stars because well....... let's be honest, it's not the Duomo. But if you aren't concerned with that, this is a big win instead of waiting in line
