Wander through gardens steeped in history at Giardino di Ninfa, where you can see the remains of Ninfa, a city thought to be founded in the first century of the Roman republic. The town was inhabited until the 16th century and today is the site for a 105 hectare (259.4 acre) English-style garden. Amble past streams, ponds, flowers, and trees to see what remains of the city. Bird-lovers may notice that the garden is home to 152 species of bird. Ask about guided tours offered in various languages. Giardino di Ninfa reviews
Nice walk among gardens and ruins of the property. Very beautiful in April/May, although the weather allows to enjoy flowers all year long. Well organized and highly recommended more »
Delightful romantic style gardens set in a ruined village. Interesting plantings including roses, pomegranates and bamboo, but best of all the setting against the local mountainside. more »
Too beautiful & will remain a most special & beautiful precious memories for our family!! 21 July 2019 🎈🎶🌷♥️
A beautiful place but very difficult to get to without a car. If you're going, get a bus to Norma but check if it stops near the gardens. To get back, take the same bus which goes to Norma but them returns to Latina (they are vey infrequent) Or get the bus to Norma after the gardens and stay the night (don't stay before as the bus does a loop and doesn't pass the gardens on the way back from Norma) Norma is well worth a visit.
