Admire the ornate marble structure of Ranakpur Jain Temple, said to be the most grandiose of the Jain temples. Dating back to the 15th century, the temple has been renovated a couple of times, but remains a marvel of architecture, boasting thousands of elaborate statues, shrines, domes, and turrets. For a small fee, you can use the audio guide as you explore the majestic building and learn about its history. Admire the temple’s countless pillars, over 1,400 of them, with each one adorned with distinct carvings and details. Loved everything about the place. The architecture was mind blowing, the symmetry, the alignment and the hardship that has gone to draw beautiful story and Gods on marble stones. One can easily spend 2-3 hrs here. Things to remember 1. You have to pay for each photography devices including mobile phones so carry the best one with you. Entry is free but you have to pay for the devices if you carry. There is a locker facility too. 2. There is not many shops or Atm around so carry cash with you. Carry enough water and food but better to put the food in your car. 3. The ride to this place is through mountains so people might feel nausea in the ghats/S curves of mountains. You might spot cheetahs as our driver told he saw just the day before. Personally it is a 9/10 for me . 1 point deducted due to toilet/restroom cleanliness. Definitely recommended ??

One of the very few temples in India that has this kind of majesty. There is additional charge of Rs. 100+ for camera. Its worth it. The carvings and the atmosphere inside is out of the world. There is no wheel chair and you need to climb stairs. The stairs serve a good place to take family photographs This place is not easily accessible, but worth a visit in lifetime
