A sacred pilgrimage site for followers of Jainism, the ornately crafted marble of Dilwara Jain Temples attracts thousands from across the world with its opulent beauty. Erected between the 11th and 13th centuries, the five temples are surrounded by mango trees and wooded hills. Take your time to uncover the intricate marble carvings spread across the ceilings, entryways, pillars, and panels of the majestic temples. Local legend claims the artisan carvers received payment according to the amount of dust they collected from their work, which allegedly encouraged them to create intensely intricate details. • Awesome location, good atmosphere, great experience, clean and supportive weather, need to think about phone they took 50 rps for phone locker  more »
  • Excellent carvings, good market around, very crowded during some parts of the day, worth visiting once  more »
  • Mark this place as another wonder of the world. No artwork can beat this handmade architecture on the ceilings made out of raw marble pieces with such perfection that even the machine will fail. Situated in hill station of Rajasthan this Jain temple a masterpiece in itself. No camera are allowed inside so can't share the image but you should visit this place once in a lifetime.
