The spiritual headquarters of a famous millenarian movement, Brahma Kumari World Spiritual University spans a large serene park on scenic Mount Abu. You begin with a 5-minute introductory lecture upon entry, and a guide will lead you through the attraction. You can try a meditation room or a specially designed gallery with audio-visual effects illustrating the thought process. Close to Hinduism but distinct from it, the movement arose in the 1930s in Hyderabad, and represents one of the largest spiritual organizations in the world led by women. You should not visit unless you are interested in religion, as there is little else to do apart from listening to lectures.
