Located on a 60 ft (18 m) hillock lies the shrine of the main deity, Swaminathaswamy, and the shrine of his parents, Meenakshi and Shiva, are placed downhill. Climb the sixty steps which lead to the three ‘qopurams’ or gateway towers to see the shrine and offer prasadam to the God. Learn about the Lord Vishnu from the priests.
