Perched on the edge of one of the oldest plateau mountains the world, Nahargarh Fort remains best known for its unrivalled panoramic views of the city of Jaipur. Built in 1734 as part of the city's defense fortifications, the structure features extending walls reaching across the rolling landscape and connecting it to another fortress. A steep 2 km (1.2 mi) winding path leads you to spectacular views of Jaipur, considered particularly stunning at sunset. A restaurant at the top of the fort allows visitors to soak in the view with a drink in hand. It couldn't be easier to arrange your visit to Nahargarh Fort and many more Jaipur attractions: make an itinerary online using Inspirock's Jaipur trip planner.

Super awesome views of the city. You can walk from Nahargarh Palace Hotel (on the ground next to the hill) to the top in about 20-30 minutes. Would recommend, since it's free and has great views. Also it's much faster and cheaper than going via the Amer area. Only downside is that the entrance to the fort is a little too touristy for my taste (many shops and a random wax museum). Might be nice for others though.
