Nestled on top of a granite hill, Golconda Fort, the place that once held the famous Koh-i-noor diamond, overlooks the city of Hyderabad. The historic structure served as the capital of the Qutb Shahi dynasty in the 16th and 17th centuries, before being abandoned. • This ancient fort is a attractive sightseeing destination in Hyderabad. You may spend 3-4 hours here easily. The castle at the top of the fort is prominent proof of ancient architecture of India. You may experience it if you able to climb more than 100 stairs. View from that castle to whole city really blowing your mind.if you want to explore history as well as adventure this is the perfect place to you.the light and sound show at evening will tell you past history of the fort.you will get a clear idea about that fort if you experienced it. This placed is very well maintained trees and garden are maintained properly.
  • One of the few very well maintained forts in South India. If you plan to visit the full fort, it will take around 2 hours. Built from the foot to the top of the hill, The fort is very well built and has various sections. There are multiple water ponds inside which shows that large planning was done to ensure the fort is self sufficient. Its a very photogenic location. Highly recommended if you are visiting Hyderabad.
