Hoysaleshwara temple is architectural marvel. Beautiful Temple, if you have not seen it you are missing out life. Amazing sculptures and rock is like wood. The carvings are so beautiful and humanly impossible finish. It has withstood all extreme weather for more than 800 years Quiet, solid, aesthetically gorgeous, and still. This is what I experienced. More than just knowing the history, for which many guides are available... just be there. Sit quietly and breathe. It's an experience to savour over a life time. Trees are much much needed here. It will help provide shelter as well bring in some cool breeze. Manicured lawns do lend greenery to the space. Trees, huge ones with flowers will completely beautify the architectural splendour. And will be a gift to Mother Earth.

Marvellous! The inscriptions are simply superb. Outside the temple, ample parking is available. Car parking costs 50 Rs. And there are enough vendors for coconut water/tea etc.
