Faberge Museum, dedicated to the display of items made by the Russian jewelry firm Faberge, holds approximately 700 Faberge items, including the extravagant Rothschild Faberge egg. This jewelry was some of the most renowned in the 19th and 20th centuries, and was supplied to kings, queens, and czars around the world. Look for intricate cigarette cases, table clocks, photo frames, barometers, and brooches. A permanent exhibition, Gold of the World, opened in 2012 and features more than 100 gold items, including an ancient Iranian chalice, ancient Greek jewelry, and a rare, 18th-century British gold trophy. • If you want to spend 18€ per adult and see silverware, this is about all the “museum” has to offer. There is not a single Faberge Egg in the collection, apart from the plastic ones in the gift shop...  more »

  • Small museum with very interesting items on display.
  • They advertise over 700 items in he collection and you would expect that most of them are what Faberge are famous for-their eggs, but there are only two. All the rest statues of animals, a gold dining set from India and a couple of silver statues and clocks. 18 euros per person is definitely over priced
