Ještěd (Czech pronunciation: [ˈjɛʃcɛt]; German: Jeschken) is the highest mountain peak (1,012 m) of the Ještěd-Kozákov Ridge near Liberec in the north of the Czech Republic. From the summit there are views into Germany and Poland. The Horní Hanychov region of Liberec lies just below the mountain.

On the summit is the Ještěd Tower restaurant, hotel and television tower, designed by Karel Hubáček, accessible by road or cable car (Ještěd Cable car). The mountain also has a ski resort.

  • We enjoyed our hike up Jested. It was very cold and everything was white and frozen, a truly magical place.  more »
  • Every year we go, its a must.great sport activity. The resto in the tower is back i 60ties, the prices are hard, more expensis the Prague...But just get a bere there.its fine  more »
  • Spectacular views. The tower is definitely an interesting construction but I wouldn't call it beautiful :)
