Built between the 12th and 17th centuries, its facade and interior were lavishly ornamented. Its portal, enriched with human forms, represents the peak of Dalmatian medieval plaster art. Visit the cathedral to see its superb sculptures and ornaments. Be sure to climb the 47 m (154 ft) bell tower, which provides open views of the bay and the rooftops of Trogir. Nice church. As we were there a wedding was taking place, which was quite interesting with musicians outside. We climbed the tower and you have a nice view over the Place and Trogir.
Just an old town with narrow streets and hundreds of tourists. Maybe knowing the history would make this place more special. I was visiting this place with my family and a baby with stroller. Prices are higher as usual. There are market near by to buy some freshies ( fruits, veggies, fish ).
