Situated at the beginning of Placa. The Monastery was built in 1317 but it took centuries to construct. The library contains over 70000 books and the pharmacy is the third oldest functioning pharmacy.... more »
Beautiful and well-preserved monastery from the 14th century. It's a great respite from the hectic streets of Dubrovnik but makes for a quick visit as there is not a whole lot to see. As with many of the museums and attractions in Dubrovnik over the last few years (thanks to price increases), it's probably only worth stopping in if you have a vested interest in the architecture or history of the monastery, or if you have the Dubrovnik card and therefore free admission. I had the card and enjoyed the visit, but don't think it would have been worth the ticket price otherwise.
This hotel is excellent, nice breakfast buffet dinner and lunch, . Nice view of the sea and beach from your room and five minutes walk to the beach .it has everything you need. From the hotel two minutes walk to the bus stop to the old town in fact bus 6
