Park · Hidden Gem · Nature / Park
Take a relaxing stroll through Parque Forestal, one of Santiago's best-loved green spaces. The narrow park, designed in a 19th-century style by Jorge Dubois, caters to joggers, picknickers, and any number of soccer-crazy kids. Enjoy the beauty of the tree-lined paths, canopied by green in the spring, and red, brown, and yellow in the fall. Look for the German fountain, palace, and several of Santiago's finest museums, all housed on the grounds. • An amazing variety of mature trees, plenty of seating, paths for strolling and large grassy areas for picnics make this a well utilized park. There were always a lot of people enjoying it...  more »
  • A green oasis at edge of city and by river. Well maintained paths, lawns, gardens and trees. A few sculptures, plenty of seating. Lack of toilet facilities. Most pleasant to stroll through.  more »
  • Great for walk, run and relax. I have taken a bunch of good photos there ;)
  • Great place for a walk! One issue is it's security, specially at night. Always a great place to visit when you want to think and meditate! Great activities happen here!!
