Barrio Bellavista, Santiago

4.4
#2 of 19 in Neighborhoods in Chile
Neighborhood · Other
Green and purple, orange and blue--the famous facades of Barrio Bellavista look more like gingerbread houses than real homes. But it's the people and culture, not the architecture, that really make Santiago's bohemian quarter a vibrant place. Known as much for its cafe culture as its energetic nightlife, the neighborhood pulses around the clock, as the city's coolest crowd congregates and unwinds. Take a stroll through the leafy streets, admire the quirky houses, then find the perfect bar and get the party started. • Definitely worth visiting! Graffities and otherforms of art create special and interesting vibes in this district. Not very clean, but it isn't something you came here for. In my opiniom, must see place in Santiago.
