    A stunning location, beautiful oak trees and the images of the German soldiers. The grave markers in black stone showing anything up to sixteen soldiers buried in a single grave coupled to the mass.....  more »

    This is as many people have said about very somber place to visit and that is a very very true statement. But visiting this German cemetery made me realise that the true enemies of world war 1 and 2 were not the soldiers but the leaders. Leaders that sat on the sidelines and everyone else do their work and it is the actions of those leaders that led to this as my tour guide described as a "mass grave" which bares a stark contrast with the other more clean and inviting allied cemetaries I visited. In my opinion the soldiers in this cemetery deserve to be remembered with the same respect as our own soldiers and I for one know that I will remember them.
