On the site of the ruins of Cistercian Cambron Abbey, Pairi Daiza is a privately owned botanical garden and zoo. Across 55 hectares (140 acres), several themed gardens represent different parts of the world. Wander through the Chinese-themed buildings and plants of the Chinese garden, home to cranes, red pandas, and muntjak. In the Kingdom of Ganesha, discover Indonesian plant life, temples, and Sumatran elephants. Catch sightings of giraffes, zebras, flamingos, and bison from aboard the garden's train. Visit the oasis greenhouse full of tropical plants, such as bamboo, banana trees, and hibiscus, as well as meerkats, giant turtles, and crocodiles.     We enjoyed a marvellous stay at Pairi Daizi, the staff were all very helpful and respectful of all current sanitary regulations. Our lodge was incredible, like a smaller version of a luxury hotel...  more »

    When it is raining open more catering. Like this with corona there is not enough capacity’s. No paradise when it is raining.  more »

    Place worth of visit in Belgium, it will take whole day and best option would be arrive in a morning. There is spacious parking on territory. Perfect place for weekend , great diversity of animals including pandas, lions and rhinos. Benefit is how animals are kept and the amount of space for them devoted, therefore they can be preserved from extinction and not stay in cages. Perfect place to take children to show them wildlife from different continents.
