Welchman Hall Gully, Melvin Hill

#2 of 10 in Things to do in Saint Thomas Parish
Garden · Nature / Park
See Barbados as the first settlers did when you visit Welchman Hall Gully. A hike along the trail of the gully delivers you through lush rainforests and allows for up-close views of the wide variety of plants, including grapefruit trees. The forest is home to a large number of wild monkeys, which you can better observe from the feeding platform. Remember to only feed the animals things the attraction deems acceptable. Also, be aware that the site only accepts cash; make sure to take enough money with you. • Very nice. Real wild nature... The monkeys are free and you can see them all over the park. This place also tries to take care of this species as the monkeys are not protected in Barbados.
  • If you are looking for a cool place to explore. Here it is. Come through and see for yourself and you can get food too!
