Himeji Garden
Find serenity in Adelaide at the Himeji Garden. Japanese sister city, Himeji, presented the gardens as a gift in 1982, and landscape architect Yoshitaka Kumada visited a few years later to upgrade the layout and bring the design into line with the principles of a traditional Japanese. Take a self-guided tour of the sansui mountain and lake garden and of the karensansui dry rock garden. Try to arrive early if you want the gardens to yourself, and don't forget your camera. I would highly recommend this place for couples or for a solo walk to reflect in a peaceful environment. There are several water features located in this garden, and a large pond that stretches throughout the garden. Great photo opportunities for photographers, and a great location to host a wedding or function. Plant life is identified by signs in front of trees and plants. This place is closed during night time, and there are no toilet facilities as of writing this review. Garden is a fully open space, so make sure to take some protection from the weather (umbrella/raincoat) if it is raining, or forecast to rain.

Himeji Garden is small in area yet beautiful and doesn’t stop one from praising its beauty. Well maintained, pond is attractive, fee seating chairs, and trees and grass are mind blowing! Best for quick walk and refreshment.
